Hi, I'm trying to create my first custom track (a port of Donut Plains 1 from MKDS), but I have a problem with KMP Expander. Opening the KMP file of the original track (Toad Circuit in this case) works fine for me, but when I try to import the OBJ file of my CT, it shows nothing at all. I tried with an OBJ file for Toad Circuit and it opens that, but it's very glitchy, as you can see here. How can I fix this? |

Well first of all, welcome to DSHack, we gladly welcome newcomers here :D But anyways, the problem you are having. I am not good with this stuff at all, in fact I probably am as helpful as Microsoft tech support, but I wanna try at least. So, have you placed your track under Y=0 when making track OBJ? That's a mistake commonly made by starters (according to Pablo btw) |

User 318 | No, I made sure to place the track above Y=0. The weird thing is that I gave my OBJ file to somebody else and it works just fine for them. |

User 318 | Okay, I managed to fix it. Changing the decimal separator used by my system from , to . made it work. Thanks for the help anyway! |

Quite weird you had the problem with comma's and full stops, as KMP Expander was created by an Italian (which you are as well, I see). Good nice to see you nailed it out already. |

Thanks :) My CT is coming along well and almost finished, I'll release it on the store soon. Speaking of KMP Expander I'm amazed at how useful this program is, good job Ermii :p small suggestion for the next version: a link to BB's guide for checkpoints? I found that to be very helpful as well, and it'd be nice to have it on the program, so that new people can avoid whitescreening a lot with their first attempts like I did |

Miles Ermiiworth | It's because I use that separator as well for some reason |
