HELP - How to extract content from .dat files.

Swiftie Luma	Hi. i recently was able to dump the romfs folder from Mario Sports Superstars. My goal was to look through the files to extract some sounds and modify others , however the entire thing is compressed in .dat files and i don't know how to work this up- heres some screenshots of the files inside the ROMFS folder that i dumped If someone knows how to work around this please help me. I really want to extract/modify this games sfx.

Hi.
