User 711 | So, I made my first track, and everything went very smoothly (I thought). I followed 2 tutorials I found on this site to help me on my way. Im not sure how it happens but my characters start and I cant move the tires. I made sure that my KCL file had the proper IDs twice and couldn't troubleshoot for another solution. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! |

SGC Yellow | Could you give us some more details, like what KCL Id you used exactly, or some screenshots, perhaps? |

User 711 | I'm not sure how to submit a screenshot, but I can tell you that I used ID 0000 for the ground, and 0008 for the walls. Also, just realized that my wheels spin very slowly, but I cannot turn them. |

Hmm, I've never seen such a thing happen before, are you using an emulator, or what did you use to make, and generate the KCL? is the KCL 16 times bigger than the course model as it should be? Some kind of screenshot, or video would be very useful, any further info, since this issue if quite alien to me. Did you replace any other files in the ROM, or are you making the CT for any specific version of MKDS, such as the beta version? |

I am using the Desmume emulator. To make the KCL file i used Every File Explorer. I have not replaced any of the other files (except the .nsbmd of course). I'm using the most current version of MKDS. None of the CPUs can drive either. I would give you some screenshots but I cant figure out how to. When I press image i gives me this " |

You don't have to use image tags, getting the screenshots to us in anyway will do. Put to use image tags, you just put the image URL between the two tags, like this: |

Well, I've spoken with the other's about it, and either your KCL file is fault, or you mixed up your KCL values. You see when you make a KCL with EFE, you apply the value to a material on the model, it sounds like you're trying to drive on a wall KCL, for the most part. |

User 711 | Switching the values in the KCL file unfortunately didn't help me. I will start from scratch and hopefully not run into the problem again. Thanks for all of your help. If I end up finding a solution I will update this thread. |

User 711 | I found the solution after a tiny bit of tinkering and a reset. You were right I was trying to drive on a wall, but the reason I couldn't change it is because when I was clicking the save button on every file explorer I still had that .carc file open and it was saving that instead of saving the whole ROM, which made it so every single time I tried switching the values it actually didn't. Once again thanks for your time, and I hope this helps any newbies like me. |

Alright nice to know you figured it out, I'll go ahead, and lock this thread, and mark it as solved. I need to go for now. |
