Hello. I want to add a custom model to Mario Kart DS. I edited the file in Blender, from a exported OBJ, but my problem here is that I don't have 3DS Max 2011. I only see 2016 as the oldest I can download. I also can't find the Maya versions either. Thank you! |

Let’s begin with what we should begin with: welcome to the site. That aside, I’m afraid there’s no other option that is reliable enough, unless my information is outdated. Maybe we could wait for SGC, Rover, or another MKDS hacker to confirm. |

Rover | Well...May I ask what you are trying to import to MKDS? I think I can help |

I was trying to make this; ![]() (Model and texture are completely custom, replaces Daisy) |

Rover | That looks pretty good. Anyway. Is the Character gonna be static or have Animations? |

User 728 | Well, I'm not sure how to make animations work on the model (basically, I don't know what bones to create and don't know how to add the animations), so static? I'm also wondering, is there any way I can PM you? |

Rover | Ah well I've seen some people use MKSCM's nsbmd maker to make static Characters. And sure. Just click on my pfp and look for new message. |
