Back in 2015 I started a project known as Koopa Kart DS. It was pretty basic at the time, but I planned for the project to have a lot of unique courses and characters. I was unable to do that though because at the time my skills were basic and I was 14. But now that I am back here I wanted to revive the project with a fresh start. Current people who i'm proud to have in my team: Zacky (Music Hacker) knms360 (Misc Hacking) So here is a vague description of what I plan for the project: 16 original courses 16 Re-Imagined Classics from past Mario Kart games Some cool new characters such as Shadow the Hedgehog and Solid Snake Some custom textured items ( I will let you guys decide what you woukd like to see An all exclusive soundtrack (with exceptions for Retro tracks) Re-Imagined battle courses Some new Karts like Yoda's Chair Completed so far: Green Thrill Zone CT ![]() There will be a few polls to ask you what you guys want to see Things I can do: Custom Music Custom Tracks (models) NKM Things that I can't do Custom characters Custom menus If you have any questions then feel free to ask below or use Private Messaging Yours sincerely TSMKFail :) |

Well. I can make some custom music (Which I've been doing since January 2017) but I guess I can join. If you need anymore info about me then DM me. Ok. Well if you can and if i provide a midi can you make All Hail Shadow from the GCN game Shadow the Hedgehog replace the title screen? That would be great. :) |

Is there an image to create a title? It would be cool if you created an original one because I don't really have any ideas for what it should be at the moment and I would also love to see your ideas. |

Toadio | I was searching online on how to mod Sonic & Sega All stars Racing DS after I discovered the file format is different to most DS games. Does anyone have any Idea on how to rip models from this game? |

It's not true, my ARM9 Editor can edit all the slots available on the Music Table. Then where is the muisc slot for the Race Start Fan Fair? I checked I know. There are two Mario Circuit's and, the title screen is called "Unknown", there are two "course intro 1"'s and, There are no options for; The Race Start Fan Fair, The After Race 1st-3rd Place Points Screen Music or, The After Race 4th-8th Place Music, The After Time Trail Music, GCN Mario Circuit, Donkey_Course, Doken_Course, Luigi_Course, Mini_Block_Course, Nokonokno_Course. Have you got ARM9 editor version 4? It fixes some of the issues in the previos versions. |

Here is a Video of me playing Mario Kart 8 using Cemu1.8.0 : Video is here My specs are: 8GB of DDR4 RAM Intel i5 6200U @ 2.4GHz Nvidia GeForce 940MX Windows 10 PS2 Controller (Using adaptor) The performance overall was good, with some times where slowdowns would occur. How well does Cemu work for you guys? |

So Ive decided to make a more detailed version of this tutorial. Its only for windows though since i dont have linux and therefore couldnt obtain the screenshots i need. So first of all you need a few Programmes: MKDSCM (By Gericom) Download EFE (By Gericom): Download Here Midi2sseq and sseq2midi : Download Here Any Midi editing software such as Anvil Studio: Download Here You will also need: Any MKDS Rom Step 1: Open up MKDSCM and open up your Rom. Step 2: Find the Sound_data.sdat by clicking that file named "Data" and then the file named "Sound". Right click on Sound_data.sdat and click "Export" and then save it where you know how to find it. ![]() Step 4: After you have saved Sound_data.sdat open it using MKDSCM. Step 5: Right click on the SSEQ you want to replace and click "Export". (Use the Kart resources page to refer to what SSEQ links to what track. Im using SSEQ41 which is Rainbow Road). ![]() Step 6: Convert the SSEQ to a midi by navigating to where you saved the SSEQ and then moving the file to the midi2sseq/sseq2midi folder. Then drag the SSEQ into sseq2midi and wait until SSEQ?? apears (the ? represents any number). ![]() Step 7: Open the Midi and look at the instrument set it uses. Make sure to refer to these instruments only otherwise your Music Hack wont work. ![]() Step 8: Download the midi that you want to replace the origional music with, or navigate to where your own midis are on your PC. Step 9: Open the Midi you downloaded or the midi you want to use and change the instrument set to match the instruments of the SSEQ then save the file. ![]() Step 10: Find the Midi you just saved and move it to the Midi2sseq/sseq2midi folder. Open up CMD (included in the folder) and type midi2sseq nameofmidi.mid nameofsseq.sseq and hit Enter. It should reply with a few lines like this. ![]() Step 11: Open your Sound_data.sdat in MKDSCM again and then right click on the SSEQ you want to replace. Click replace and navigate to your midi2sseq/sseq2midi folder that your new SSEQ is stored in and then click "Open". ![]() Step 12: Click the floppy disk icon to save it and close the programme. Step 13: Open EFE, Open your ROM and then navigate to where the Sound_data.sdat is located. Right click Sound_data.sdat and click "Replace" and then navigate to where your modified Sound_data.sdat is stored. Click "Open" to complete the operation and then click the floppy disk icon to save. ![]() You have now succesfully replaced an SSEQ file in MKDS! |

- 7.7 GiB of RAM (DDR3 maybe?) Hmmm. Have you looked at any possible fixes? |

They will need to create a Linux version for it to be "fixed". Will other platforms besides Windows be supported? Multi-platform support is planned and so far many development decisions have been in favor of supporting multiple platforms (e.g. choosing OpenGL over DirectX for rendering). But currently there are thousands of other little things that need to be done before work on ports can be started. Taken from the FAQ on Their Website |

Saw this a second ago too. That explains a lot. I guess you will have to wait till they eventually port it to Vulcan or OpenGL. |
