mkdshacker it just says "evry file explorer stopped working " and MKDSCM crashes too is the same thing for each of the editors so there is no way to i can edit .nkm files no my computer

mkdshacker so since no one made atutorial i will make one


requirments

:MKDSCM last
:NSMBE (or any program that can extract any file)

1st step

- open your rom with NSMBE and go root/data/main2d_us.carc
then on the prompt that opens go root and extract the "common.bmg" file

2nd step

open MKDSCM and open your "common.bmg" file it will open a prompt with evry single message that is shown in the game
make your changes be sure that you write the names on A like "VOLCANO ISLAND or DOKAN_COURSE" hit the diskette icon to save the changes

3rd step

open NSMBE and go root/data/main2d_us.carc then on the prompt go root/and replaece common.bmg

4th step

TEST IT !

You need to edit the NCGR file to edit the graphics. BNCL file is for the placements of the graphics and the NCER is for the graphics for the BNCL to use.

Go to kissanime or gogoanime, you can start watching anime fast even though these sites are ass and contain 19230 ads. Otherwise if you want to do it the "legal" way, use Crunchyroll or something.

crunchyroll had a beta exploit for the wiiu but it was never finished

mkdshacker this tutorial is for people that wants to change the standard kart collor

tools:
MKDSCM (toad icon)
EFE


open your rom with efe and go data/kartmodelmenu/kart/palette/and extract kart_a.NCLR

open the file with mkdscm and this screen will apear



obs i already edited the palette

red is mario light green is yoshi and blue is toad so edit it ;)

click the diskette icon and close

open the rom with efe and go to data/kartmodelmenu/kart/palette/and replaece kart_a.NCLR

now go data/kartmodelmainA.carc/kart/palette/and replaece kart_a.NCLR

now go data/kartmodelmenu.carc/kart/palette/and replaece kart_a.NCLR

and you are done tell me if there is some error with the tutorial

On that screenshot, you can resize the palette window to get 16 colors per row (I see 19 colors per row in the screenshot). That way, you can choose which palette to edit easier. (DO NOT resize the window while editing palettes, or your changes will be reversed, so if you're going to resize the window, do it before editing)

When you get 16 colors per row:

Row 1 = Mario
Row 2 = Donkey Kong
Row 3 = Toad
Row 4 = Bowser
Row 5 = Peach
Row 6 = Wario
Row 7 = Yoshi
Row 8 = Luigi
Row 9 = Dry Bones
Row 10 = Daisy
Row 11 = Waluigi
Row 12 = R.O.B.
Row 13 = Shy Guy
